Sean Dix is a US-born interior architect and furniture/product designer based in Hong Kong since (2008) and Milan (since 2000). Reflecting the multiple strands of the studio, the collections have an industrial and architectural edge to them. Utilising an extensive network of Asian and European manufacturers and suppliers, the studio is famous for bespoke pieces it creates for each project.
Now a globally recognised architect / designer / educator, Dix established his design+architecture office in Milan in 2000 and the Hong Kong office in 2008. He graduated from the prestigious School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Rietveld Academie (Amsterdam) and Domus Academy (Milan) and has lectured at IULM (Milan), the Politecnico di Milano, Domus Academy (Milan), Beckman’s (Stockholm), and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
